Mrs. P. A. Allen Buried Thursday At County Line
Funeral services for Mrs. Missie Allen, 72, of Jenkinsburg were held Thursday, January 12, at 11 o'clock , from the County Line Baptist Church with the Rev. G. A. Briggs officiated. Interment was in the County Line Cemetery.
Mrs. Allen died in Monticello Hospital following a brief illness. A native of Butts County, she was the daughter of the late T. J. Davis and Mrs. Rebecca Kimbell Davis and wife of the late Perry A. Davis.
She was a member of the County Line Baptist Church.
Pallbearers were Tom McClendon, G. C. McClendon, Elwood McClendon, Emory Holder, Melborne Foster and H. M. Blissett. Peacock & Ball Funeral Home were in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. H. M. Blissett, Locust Grove; one brother, O. J. Davis, Savannah; several nieces and nephews.
