Mrs. Elsuma Allen

Mrs. Elsuma Allen, 59, 365 Watkins Drive in Jackson died Wed, Nov. 27, at Henry General Hospital in Stockbridge.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Dec. 1, at Zion Baptist Church, with Dr. B. J. Saucer officiating. Interment was in Jackson City Cemetery.
Mrs. Allen was Born in Lamar County, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Homer Bank. A member of Zion Baptist Church, Mrs. Allen was a member of the combined choir, Sunday School class two, kitchen committee, and Faithful Few Singers. She was a lady attendant for Trimier Funeral Home.
Survivors include her son, Robert Allen Jr. of Jackson; daughters, Patricia Bank Monds of Stone Mountain and Debra Allen of Decatur; sisters, the Rev. and Mrs. Jonas Taylor of Jackson, and Mr. and Mrs. John Stephenson of Lima, Ohio; brothers, Mr. and Mrs. Corinthians Banks of Griffin, Mr. and Mrs. Luther Banks of Barnesville, and Mr. and Mrs. Early Lawson of Lima, Ohio; four grandchildren, five sisters-in-law, 13 brothers-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.
Trimier Funeral Home in Jackson was in charge of arrangements.
