Mr. P. A. Allen Died at Jenkinsburg Wednesday
The death of Mr. P. A. Allen, 79, a well known citizen of the county, occurred Wednesday morning at 3 o'clock at his home in Jenkinsburg. He had been sick for several weeks and his death brings sorrow to friends and relatives here and over the state.
Funeral services were to be held at County Line Baptist church Thursday afternoon, with Rev. A. A. Heath officiating, and interment will be in the churchyard.
Mr. Allen, a native of Henry county, had been a resident of Jenkinsburg for several years and was well known and esteemed for his fine qualities of character. He is survived by his wife, formerly Miss Annice Davis; four daughters, Mrs. H. H. Joiner, Mrs. Bob Bryant, Mrs. Wade H. Craig, Atlanta; Mrs. W. C. Alexander, Mountain View; three sons, Claude Allen, McDonough; Andrew Allen and Eulee Allen, of Atlanta.
