Sarah T. Allen, formerly of Flovilla, died Tues., April 6, at Starcrest Nursing Home in McDonough.
Funeral Services were held Thurs., April 8, at Haisten Funeral Home with Dr. Ann Nell Fletcher officiating. Interment was in the Flovilla Cemetery.
Miss Allen was born Nov. 17, 1901 in Flovilla, daughter of the late R. L. and Marie Marshall Allen. She graduated from the State Normal College in Athens and Birmingham Southern University.
Miss Allen taught school in the Birmingham, Ala. school system until her retirement and she was a life member of the National Education Association and a member of the Flovilla United Methodist Church.
Survivors include sister and brother-in-law Rebekah and Jack Heil of Flovilla; and several nieces.
Haisten Funeral Home in Jackson was in charge of arrangements.
