Death of Mr. D. A. Almand.
The death of Mr. D. A. Almand, of Conyers, is universally regretted in this city.
He visited our town on Tuesday before he died the following Saturday. He was not well when he left for his home, and seemed to fully realize the seriousness of his condition. He said to his brother-in-law, Mr. B. F. Moon, a few minutes before the train came, "I want you to see that I get on the train, dead or alive."
He was ready to die, and is a happier soul today than then.
