Mrs. Kate N. Alston

Mrs. Kate N. Alston, 96, mother of Mrs. E. W. Gibson of Lake Jackson, Monticello, died August 16th at Moody Nursing Home, Decatur. Funeral services were held at Glenwood Chapel with Horis Ward Funeral Home of Decatur in charge. Burial was in the Gibson Cemetery near Social Circle.
Mrs. Alston is survived by a daughter, Mrs. E. W. Gibson of Monticello, and a son, N. C. Alston of Atlanta; seven grandchildren including N. D. Gibson and Mrs. Katie Kilby, both of Lake Jackson, Monticello.
Mrs. Alston made her home with her daughter until two and one-half years ago.
