Sister Jackson Residents Dies in Starrsville
Friends here extend sympathy to Mrs. R. W. Mays and Miss Berta Edwards in the death of their sister, Mrs. B. J. Anderson of Starrsville which occurred Sunday.

The following notice is from Monday's Atlanta Journal:
Covington, Ga., March 7 Funeral services for Mrs. Ben J. Anderson, 75, prominent Newton county resident, were held Monday afternoon at Starrsville Methodist Church. The Rev. Walter Murphy and the Rev. A. C. Landrum officiated. Burial was in Nelcher cemetery.
Mrs. Anderson, the former Miss Dora Edwards, spent all her married life in Starrsville. She was a member of the Starrsville Methodist Church and a charter member of the Hays Woman's Club. She died Sunday at her home in Starrsville.
Surviving are her husband; one son, Henry Anderson of Starrsville; daughters, Mrs. D. B. Dixon, Starrsville; Mrs. W. A. King, Athens; one brother, B. P. O. Edwards of Clearwater, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. R. W. Mays and Miss Berta Edwards of Jackson; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
