Florence K Andrews
Florence K Andrews, 83, of Jackson died Sunday.
The funeral was held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Rochelle. Burial, was in the Rochelle cemetery.
A native of Coffee County, Mrs. Andrews lived in Wilcox County for 30 years and retired as director of the Wilcox County Department Family and Children Services following 25 years of service. She taught school in Bacon County during World War II and was a member of the Rochelle United Methodist Church, which she served as a member of the choir and WMU and as a Sunday school teacher. She had lived in Jackson for the past five years.
Survivors include two sons, Reppard Arthur Andrews of Westchester, Pa., and Ronald L. Andrews of Lake Park; Ga.; a daughter, Mrs. Robert E. Faye Mills of Jackson; sisters, Minnie Lee Green of Barnesville and Mary Elizabeth Prislovsky of Fort Worth, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; several nephews and nieces.
Frazier Funeral Home in Rochelle was in charge of arrangements
