Josie Mae Andrews

Josie Mae Andrews of Jackson died Saturday, Dec. 17.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 21, at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church with Rev. McArthur Childs officiating. Interment was in the Mt. Gilead cemetery.
Mrs. Andrews was born Oct. 26, 1924 in Monroe County, daughter of the late Charlie and Susie Evans. She was a member of Mt. Gilead.
Survivors include daughters, Evelyn Clemons of Griffin and Carol Taylor of Jackson; sisters, Pauline Evans of Jackson and Daisey Mae Evans of Lake Wales, FL; two sisters-in-law; 18 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and several aunts, nieces and nephews.
Trimier Funeral Home of Jackson was in charge of arrangements.
