Funeral rites held for Mrs. Andrews Saturday
Funeral services for Mrs. Lavina Elizabeth Andrews, 65 years of age, whose death occurred in Atlanta Thursday, were held at Spring Hill in Atlanta Saturday morning and interment was in the Macedonia cemetery.
Mrs. Andrews, who was a Miss Gray, of Dallas, Ga., was the widow of the late Mr. John O. Andrews former resident of Butts county. The family resided in Butts county for some years and then moved to Atlanta. Mr. Andrews, who was a Well known Confederate veteran died about ten years ago.
Mrs. Andrews is survived by a daughter, Mrs. W. D. Tucker; a son, Oliver M. Andrews; three sisters and a brother. Mrs. J. L. Barnes, of Bonita Springs, Fla., and Mrs. J. W. Harper of Hampton are daughters-in-law.
Many friends in Butts county regretted to learn of the death of this beloved woman.
