Tom Andrews

Tom Andrews, 85, of 407 McKibben Street, Jackson, died May 28 at Georgia Baptist Hospital.
Mr. Andrews was a native of Butts County, son of the late Tom and Marie Andrews. He was a member of Zion Baptist Church and the Senior Ushers Board.
Survivors include one daughter, Essie May Johnson of Jackson; sisters, Willie Mae Moore and Minnie Jefferson, both of Jackson; 11 grandchildren; 22 great - grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. B. J. Saucer officiating. Burial was in the Fairfield A.M.E. Church cemetery in Jackson.
Trimier-Jackson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
