Bessie Mae Fickling Annis

Bessie Mae Fickling Annis of Jackson died Thurs., Feb. 3, at Sylvan Grove Hospital.
Funeral services were held Sun., Feb. 6, in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Harrigan officiating. Interment was in the Jackson City Cemetery.
Mrs. Annis was born Dec. 29, 1911 near Sumpter, S. C, daughter of the late James B. and Lenora Singleton Fickling.
She was a retired school lunchroom worker.
Survivors include husband, Cecil Annis of Jackson; sons, Jerry Annis of Jackson and Ray Annis of Watchahatchee, Tx.; daughters, Lenora Kempson of Forsyth, Louise Cothran of Jackson, Velma Keen of Ellington, Fla. and Frances Hurt of Talladega, Ala.; 25 grandchildren; and several great and great great grandchildren.
Haisten Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
