Mr. Palmer H. Ansley

Mr. Palmer H. Ansley, 63, of Atlanta died Thursday, Jan. 10, at Crawford W. Long Hospital of complications after surgery.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 12, at Patterson's Oglethorpe Hill Chapel, with burial at Arlington Memorial Park.
Mr. Ansley was born in Lyons, the son of Hubert Ansley and Joanne Page Ansley. A Marine Corps veteran, he graduated from the University of Georgia where he received his law degree.
The former president of the Atlanta Bar Association was a senior partner in the law firm of Long, Weinberg, Ansley and Wheeler. He had practiced law since 1952. Mr. Ansley was a former chairman of the disciplinary board of the State Bar of Georgia and a member of the American Bar Association, American College of Trial Lawyers, International Association of Defense Counsel American Association of Defense Trial Attorneys, Georgia Defense Association and Lawyers Club of Atlanta.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Ann Ansley; daughters, Pam A. Chandler of Jackson, and Sharon A Morris of Lawrenceville; sons, Hugh Ansley, Kevin D. Ansley, Travis S. Ansley, and Brandon P. Ansley of Atlanta; brother, Eugene Ansley of Atlanta; sisters, Margie Styron of Warner Robins, and Jimmie Rayhill of Macon; and six grandchildren.
