Annie K. Appling

Annie K. Appling, 93, of 692 Chestnut Drive in Jackson died Jan. 24.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Jan. 28, at Zion Baptist Church in Jackson, with the Rev. W. C. James officiating. Interment was in Fairfield Cemetery.
Mrs. Appling was born in Jasper County, daughter of the late Diamond and Ella Jewell.
She was a member of Zion Baptist Church where she served on the mother's board and was a ward captain and member of Sunday School Class No. 1.
Survivors include her daughters, Lizzie Wise, Eloise Roberts, Katherine Weaver, all of Jackson, and Sadie Berry of Atlanta; sons, Alonza Appling of Jackson and Henry Appling of Cincinnati, Ohio; sister, Katherine Jewell of Atlanta; one son-in-law, two daughters-in-law, 23 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Trimier Funeral Home in Jackson was in charge of arrangements.
