Mary Frances Appling
Mary Frances Appling, 64, of 347 Benton St., Jackson, died Nov. 3 at Henry General Hospital.
Mrs. Appling was a native of Butts County, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tooke Jester.
She was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church.
Survivors include her husband, James Appling; daughters, Marzie, Patricia, and Jacqueline Appling, all of Jackson; sons, William, Thomas, and Lonnie Appling, all of Jackson; sister, Susie McElhaney of Cincinnati, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Barbara Appling of Atlanta; brothers-in-law, Mose Appling of Monticello and Frank Appling of Stockton, Calif.; aunt, Josie Cash of Barnesville; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Bethel A.M.E. Church in Jackson with the Rev. Willie Card officiating. Burial was in the Mount Olive cemetery in Monticello.
Trimier-Jackson Funeral Services was in charge of arrangements.
