Mr. Jacob Arenson Dies at Home in Glennville
Friends here were sorry to learn of the death of Mr. Jacob Arenson, 65 years of age, which occurred Tuesday afternoon at his home in Glennville. He had been critically ill for only a short time but had been in declining health for some months.
Mr. Arenson was a former well known merchant of Jackson. While a resident of the city he had a host of friends. Later he moved to Macon and later to Glennville. He was a man of pleasing personality and is remembered here by friends and customers.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bessie Arenson; four daughters, Mrs. Annie Eiseman, of Jackson; Miss Sarah Arenson, of Atlanta; Misses Ray and Janie Arenson, of Glennville; three sons, Joe and Leon Arenson, of Los Angeles, Calif. And Sam Arenson, of Glennville.
Funeral services were held in Savannah Wednesday afternoon with interment on Bonaventure cemetery.
