Mother of R. F. Armstrong Died In Tennessee
Word was received here Wednesday morning of the death in Rogersville, Tennessee of Mrs. W. S. Armstrong, 82, mother of R. F. Armstrong of Jackson.
Mrs. Armstrong suffered a stroke Tuesday of last week from which she failed to rally, expiring Wednesday morning about 9 o'clock in the Rogersville hospital.
Mr. Armstrong was in Rogersville at the time of his mother death. He had made several trips home recently because of the, illness of his father. Mr. Armstrong will be joined by his wife, and son, Tammy Armstrong student at the University of Georgia, who was home for the holidays.
Details of the funeral were not available Wednesday morning
Funeral arrangements are scheduled for Friday morning at 10:30.
