Mr. Curtis Joseph Ashmore

Ashmore Rites Held Wednesday
Funeral services for Mr. Curtis Joseph Ashmore, 69, of Route 5, Jackson were conducted Wednesday morning at eleven o'clock from the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with the Rev. Forest Thompson officiating. Interment was in the Providence cemetery.
Mr. Ashmore died Monday night following an illness of several months.
A native of Carroll County, he lived in Birmingham, Ala. for many years where he was employed by the Coastal Tool Company before his retirement. He had made his home with his sister in the High Falls community for several years.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Marjorie Pugh of Birmingham, Ala., Mrs. Edna Brooks of Altoona, Ala. and Mrs. Hilda Wigley of Jackson; several nieces and nephews.
Haisten Funeral Home of Jackson was in charge of arrangements.
