Hal Aston Buried On Friday
Funeral services for Mr. Hal D. Aston, of Route Two, Hampton, were held Friday at 2 o'clock from the Hampton United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Charles Handley and the Rev. Victor Whited officiating. Burial was in the Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Jonesboro under the direction of Pittman Rawls Funeral Home.
Mr. Aston was a native of Winfield, Ala. and had made his home in Henry County for 33 years. He was a retired employee of Southern States Equipment Co. and was a member of the Hampton United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Edna Marston Aston, of Hampton; two daughters, Mrs. D. J. Lewis of Jackson and Mrs. Ward Watkins of Morrow; two sisters, Miss Lois Aston and Mrs. Virgil Browning, both of Winfield, Ala; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
