Mrs. J. T. Atkinson Claimed By Death
Friends in the county were *** to learn of the death at Mrs. Atkinson, well known resident of the Jenkinsburg community, which occurred Monday night. Death **** long illness and a period of **** extending over several years.
Mrs. Atkinson, was Miss Lora Childs, of Henry county, prior to her marriage. She was a member of the Baptist church and esteemed by a wide circle of friends. Besides her husband she is survived by a brother, Mr. W. R. Childs of Locust Grove.
Funeral services were held at County Line church Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock and Rev. R. B. Harrison conducted the services, with interment in the churchyard.
