Little Tommie Atkinson Passed Away On Friday
On last Friday night at 11:30 o'clock little Tommie Atkinson, five months old daughter of Mrs. Lottie Crawford Atkinson and the late Thomas P. Atkinson, passed away at the home of her grandparents, Mr. And Mrs. J. M. Crawford, in this city. During the few months of her young life she won a deep place in the hearts of the family and her passing was a hard blow to each of them. She had been ill about a week, cholera infantum being the cause of her death. Simplicity marked the short funeral services which were conducted by Rev, R. C. Clecker at 10 o'clock Sunday morning from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Crawford. A vocal; solo, "There'll Be No Shadows" was sweetly sung by Miss Ossie McCord, the words and melody being as pure as the life of this fragile young flower. The pallbearers were four of Mrs. Atkinson's intimate girl friends, Misses Rosa Newton, Adelle Nutt, Pauline Mallett, Naidine Wood. The entire family have hosts of friends who sympathize with them deeply in their bereavement.

A Sweet Little Life Closes on Earth.
After only a short illness, Tommie, the five-month-old daughter of Mrs. Lottie Atkinson, passed away at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Crawford, last Friday night. The loss of this sweet baby is particularly sad, as just a few months ago Mrs. Atkinson lost her husband, and now the baby, the joy of her life, is taken. It was a sad blow to the loved ones of the immediate household, who were devotedly attached to her. The funeral services were conducted at the home Sunday morning, after which the precious little one was laid to rest in the cemetery. The pall-bearers were Misses Myra Miller, Pauline Mallet, Adelie Nutt, Rosa Newton; and the little flower-bearers were Fredna Allen, Naidine Leach, Thema Wood, and Doris Nutt.
