Mr. Seborn L. Austin

Austin Burial Rites at Indian Springs Monday.
Burial services for Mr. S. L. Austin were held at the Indian Springs cemetery Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock with Rev. Leon Smith in charge. Mrs S. H. Thornton and Miss Carolyn Ham sang "Near to the Heart of God." Pallbearers were Richard and Bob Watkins, J. E. Cornell, Herbert Pannell, J. H. Beasley, W. H. Whitworth. H. M. Patterson and Son were in charge of arrangements. Funeral services were held in Spring Hill in Atlanta Monday at 12:30 with Rev. Leon Smith and Dr. Joseph Owen officiating.
Mr. Austin, 75, died early Sunday after a short illness. He was a native of Texas but a number of years ago he moved to Atlanta where he engaged in the real estate business. He was a member of St. Mark Methodist church. His wife is the former Miss Lucille Watkins, daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. G. I. Watkins of Indian Springs.
Survivors, besides his wife, include two sisters, Mrs. W. A. Stell, Lake Providence, La., Mrs. J. D. Holloway, Lake Village, Ark., twp brothers, J. R. Austin, Trout. La., Septimius Austin, Laurel, Miss.; nieces, Mrs. Lawrence Lacy, Lake Providence, La., Mrs. Mary H. Mullis, Monroe, La., Mrs. Lauren Griggs, Fort Wayne, Ind., Hunter Holloway, Lake Village, Ark.
