Mrs. Azar Succumbs To Wound
Funeral services for Mrs. David G. Azar, 71, of 4325 Wieuca Road, N.E., Atlanta, were held Thursday, September 25th, at 11 o'clock, at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Leonard P. Kellermann, S.M., officiating. Interment was in Westview Cemetery with H. M. Patterson and Son, Oglethorpe Hill, in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Azar, grandmother of Mrs. Larry (Yvette Maloof) Deraney of Jackson, died Tuesday, September 23rd, from a gunshot wound sustained Friday afternoon, September 19th, at her home.
A native of Beirut, Lebanon, Mrs. Azar was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Elks Club, the Knights of Columbus, and the Cedar Club.
Mrs. Azar is survived by her husband, David G. Azar; four daughters, Mrs. Charles Jabaley, Jr., Mrs. Edward Maloof, Mrs. George Maloof, and Miss Bernice Azar, all of Atlanta; a brother, Joseph Moses of Ft. Myers, Fla.
