Mr. John Carmichael
Mr. John Carmichael, eldest son of Mrs. R. E. Carmichael, died at his home near Waco, Texas a few days ago from pneumonia. His remains were brought to Jackson on Wednesday and interred here. The deceased was well known in Jackson as a warm-hearted young man and much sorrow is expressed at his death. He leaves a wife and several small children, and many relatives here to who we extend our hearty sympathies in this hour of sad bereavement. (Jackson Argus - Butts County - Week of March 24, 1899)
