Two Men Drown In Boating Mishap Sunday
Friends of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas R. Sims of Jenkinsburg sympathize with them in the drowning Sunday, June 25, of her brother-in-law of Charleston, S. C. and his brother of Jacksonville, Fla.
The tragedy occurred when the boat in which the two men were riding capsized on Lake Moultrie near Charleston. Drowned were C. N. Infinger, 55, brother-in-law of Mrs. Sims, and his brother, Dennis P. Infinger, 64, of Jacksonville, Fla.
A fisherman found the capsized boat about two miles northwest of Bonneau Beach and notified the Bonneau police.
Mrs. Sims stated that the Charleston resident had taken his brother out on the lake to show where he had been fishing and reported that neither could swim.
Mr. Infinger's widow was the former Miss Dorothea E'Dalgo who was born and reared at Jenkinsburg, moving to Nashville, Ga., in 1930.
