Funeral Services for Miss Ingram Held on Sunday.
Miss Arie Ingram, 73 years of age, one of the county's beloved women, died at the home of her brother, Joe Ingram, on the Worthville-Fincherville Road, Friday afternoon at 2:30 after an illness of several days.
Daughter of the late J. M. Ingram and Mrs. Susie Burford Ingram, she was connected with families active in the county's affairs for several generations. Miss Ingram, who was a member of Macedonia church, was a practical nurse and her kind ministrations to those in distress will long be remembered.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. George Allen of Griffin; two brothers, J. B. Ingram of Griffin and Joe Ingram of Jackson.
Funeral services were held at the Baptist church in Jackson Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. J. B. Stodghill as the officiating minister. Burial was ion the Griffin cemetery with Thornton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The pallbearers were nephews and included Jack Ingram, George Ingram, Charles Ingram, Paul Junior Hayes, Ben Hayes and G. W. Allen.
