Howard Edward Ingram
Howard Edward (Eddie) Ingram, 55, of Route 1, Jackson, the Finchersville Road, died Thursday evening of an apparent heart attack.
The funeral was held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill O'Conner officiating. Burial was in Crestlawn Cemetery in Atlanta with Masonic graveside rites. Members of Ancient Lodge No. 127 served as pallbearers.
Mr. Ingram was a native of Atlanta, son of William Robert Ingram Sr. and the late Leyra Jones Ingram. He served in the U.S. Navy for eight years and was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Atlanta.
Mr. Ingram had been a resident of Butts County nine years and was a self-employed mechanic. He was a member of Ancient York Lodge No. 127 in Worthville and was a volunteer fireman with the Worthville Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Hozey Ingram; daughters, Angela McMurray of Jackson and Samantha Gay of Valdosta; granddaughters, Shannon and Tiffany Powell of Jackson; father, W. R. Ingram Sr. of Stockbridge; brothers, W. R. Ingram Jr. and Charles W. Ingram, both of Stockbridge, and Jerry Ingram of Lawrenceville; sisters, Mary Kinsey of Stockbridge, Shirley Brown and Elsie Corley, both of Cumming, and Norma Myers of Tignall; 26 nieces and nephews.
Haisten Funeral Home of Jackson was in charge of arrangements.
