John Samuel Murat Mcgruder Ingram
Mr. J. S. M. Ingram Summoned by Reaper
After an illness of several months, Mr. J. S. M. Ingram , 66 years of age, died at his home at Jenkinsburg Wednesday morning at 6 o'clock. He had been in declining health for several months. The passing of this well known citizen brings regret to a host of friends.
Mr. Ingram was a native of Butts county and was a son of the late Mr. J. M. Ingram and Mrs. Susan Burford Ingram, esteemed residents of the county. Born near Cedar Rock, Mr. Ingram moved several years ago to Jenkinsburg where he had since resided. He was a member of the Jenkinsburg Baptist church and was held in general high esteem.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. S. C. Wall, of Jenkinsburg, and Mrs. J. R. O'Neal and Mrs. W. V. Grant, of Jackson; two brothers, J. R. Z. Ingram, of Griffin and J. E. B. Ingram, of Jackson; two sisters, Miss Arie Ingram, of Jackson and Mrs. G. A. Allen, of Griffin.
Funeral services will be held at the Jenkinsburg Baptist church Thursday morning at 11 o'clock, with Dr. Ingram, of Bessie Tift College, Forsyth, conducting the services.
