Lucy Jane McClure Ingram

Mrs. J. S. M. Ingram Is Taken By Death Monday.
Following an illness of several months duration, Mrs. J. S. M. Ingram, aged 58, passed away at her home near Jenkinsburg Monday after noon at 4:30 o'clock. The death of his beloved woman comes as a shock to a wide circle of friends.
Mrs. Ingram was Miss Lucy McClure before her marriage. She was a member of the Jenkinsburg Baptist church and was connected with a well known family of the county.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Sam Wall, Mrs. Johnnie O'Neal and Miss Tommisu Ingram, popular graduate of the Jackson High School, class of 1928; three sisters, Mrs. W. J. Mayfield, Mrs. Ira, Owens and Miss Deedie McClure, and a brother, J. A. McClure, of Porterdale.
Funeral services were held at the Jenkinsburg Baptist church Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, with Rev. Mr. Brooks officiating. Interment was in the churchyard.
