Louise Cook Itson
Louise Cook Itson, resident of Westbury Medical Care Home, died Mon., Oct. 11, at the Griffin Spalding County AMI Hospital.
Funeral services were held Wed., Oct. 13, in the chapel of Sherrell Funeral Home of Jackson with Rev. A. L. Price officiating. Interment was in the Jackson City Cemetery.
Mrs. Itson was a long-time resident of Butts County. She was born Dec. 31, 1921 in Henry County, daughter of the late Oscar Lee and Hannah Lee Force Cook. She was the widow of Edward Itson. She was a member of the Jackson First Baptist Church.
Survivors include brother and sister-in-law Ralph and Winona Cook of Jackson; sister Virginia Babb of Norcross; sister-in-law Tenella Maddox of Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.
Sherrell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
