Brenda Diane Hamby Underwood

Brenda Diane Hamby Underwood, 38, of Jackson died Wednesday, April 19, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta following a lengthy illness.
Graveside services were held Friday, April 21, in the Macedonia Baptist Church cemetery with Dr. Rodney Autry and Rev. Terry Moncrief officiating. Mrs. Underwood was born in Greenville, SC, daughter of the late James and Bonnie Ramsey Hamby. She was the widow of Charles D. Underwood.
She had been a resident of Butts County for the past eight years and was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church.
Survivors include sons, Daniel and Jeramy Underwood of Jackson; sisters. Rose Hamby of Jackson, Alice Hamby of East Point and Louise Hamby of Atlanta; and brother, Johnny Hamby.
Haisten Funeral Home of Jackson was in charge of arrangements.
