Last Rites Mrs. Upshaw
Funeral services for Mrs. Alma Upshaw, 47, were conducted Thursday, April 8th, at two o'clock from the Second Mount Vernon Baptist Church with the Rev. G. W. Baker officiating. Interment was in Macedonia Cemetery in Jackson.
Mrs. Upshaw died April 2nd at Grady Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Horace Upshaw; father, Mr. Harry Newby; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Hurst and Mrs. Ruby Newby, all of Atlanta; grandmother, Mrs. Hattie Lummus of Jackson.
Abe Trimier Funeral Home was in charge.
