Robert James Usher
Robert James Usher, 63, of Route 3, Jackson, died Thursday, March 9. The funeral was held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Rock Springs Baptist Chtirch in McDonough with the Rev. E. J. Tomlinson officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Usher, son of Jessie and Mattie Usher, was born in Henry County. He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Mae Usher; daughters, Christine Willingham of Decatur and Barbara Usher of Atlanta; stepmother, Fannie Mae Usher of Atlanta; brothers, Jessie James Usher of Jenkinsburg, Willie and Tommy Usher, both of Tuiskegee, Ala., and J. W. Usher of Philadelphia, Pa.; sisters, Annie Mae Rosser of Jenkinsburg, Mary Owens and Dorothy Harris, both of Atlanta, and JoAnn Worthy of Decatur; two grandsons; six sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; 12 aunts; several nephews and nieces.
Trimier - Jackson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
