Rites Thursday For Mrs. Van Devender
Mrs. Helen Aston Van Devender of 20 Georgia Ave., Hampton, died Tuesday evening, March 5th, at Georgia Baptist Hospital in Atlanta. She was the wife of Leon Van Devender.
Memorial services were conducted Thursday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock from the Hampton United Methodist Church with the Rev. A. L. Cole Jr. officiating.
Mrs. Van Devender is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Larry Johnson of Griffin and Miss Lisa Van Devender of Hampton; two sons, Neal and Brian Van Devender, both of Hampton; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hal Aston of Hampton; two sisters, Mrs. Ward Watkins of Morrow and Mrs. D. J. Lewis of Jackson; and one granddaughter.
