Mr. J. A. Vandigriff

Mr. J. A. Vandigriff Passed Away Tuesday
The death of Mr. J. A. Vandigriff, 59 years of age, occurred at his home at Jenkinsburg Tuesday. He had been in feeble health for several months, and suffered from a complication of ailments.
Mr. Vandigriff was a prominent citizen of his community, being a member of the Methodist church and enjoyed the confidence and esteem of his fellow citizens. He is survived by his wife, who was a miss Mills before her marriage; four sons, Messrs. Orine, Clarence, L. D. and B. F. Vandigriff; two brothers, Messrs. William and James Vandigriff of Atlanta.
Funeral services were held at Jenkinsburg Wednesday afternoon and his pastor, Rev. E. C. Wilson, officiated. Interment was in the Jenkinsburg Cemetery.

Lodge Adopts Resolutions On Mr. J. A. Vandergriff. Brother J. A. Vandergriff was born May 19, 1859 and died May 11, 1920. He was a member of the Methodist church and has always been faithful to his church. He was a Mason and a member of Jenkinsburg lodge No. 474 F, & A. M. He remained true to the end to his Masonic obligations and lodge. He was a man of spotless moral character, always upholding and living the principles of brotherly kindness, a true Mason, a true Christian and has reaped his reward in his everlasting inheritance with God. Be it resolved that the above be adopted by the Jenkinsburg Lodge No. 474, F. & A. M., and a copy sent to his wife and one to the county paper for publication. J. W. Harper, H. C. Childs, W. D.
