Mr. William H. Vanzandt

Mr. William H. Vanzandt Passed Away Monday.
The death of Mr. William Vanzandt, 41 years of age, occurred Monday afternoon at his home in Flovilla. He had been sick for several months and underwent three operations in Atlanta and four at Johns Hopkins, transfusion of blood having been resorted to in an effort to save his life.
Mr. Vanzandt was one of the operators at the Sandy block and was held in high esteem by his employers and fellow workers. He was a native of Jones county but had been a resident of Butts county for some time.
He is survived by his wife, one son and two daughters.
The funeral services were held at the Flovilla Methodist church Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock, with Rev. Adrian Warlock officiating. The body was taken to his old home at Round Oak, Jones county, for interment.
