J. C. Varner

We are pained to learn that a telegram was received by Miss Joe Varner last Friday, from Arkansas, informing her of the death of J. C. (Gen) Varner the night previous. He had gone about three weeks ago to visit a relative in that state. The telegram gave no details except the sad information of his death. We tender the bereaved ones our heartfelt sympathy.
