The death of Mrs. T. W. Vaughn, aged 34, a highly esteemed woman of the Cedar Rock community, occurred Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. She suffered from pneumonia and other complications and had been sick for about two weeks. Her death brings deep regret to a host of friends.
Mrs. Vaughn before her marriage was Miss Eva Taylor, of Butts, county. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist church and her many admirable qualities of character won for her many loyal friends.
She is survived by her husband and two daughters and a son; two sisters, Mrs. Grady Davidson, of Atlanta; and Mrs. Dewitt Singley, of Jackson; three brothers, Jim Taylor, of Stockbridge; Woodie Taylor, of Augusta and Robert Taylor, of Jackson.
Funeral services were held at Old Bethel church, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. Mr. Barron, of Zebulon, officiating. The services were largely attended and the beautiful floral offerings attested the love and esteem of friends and relatives. Interment was in the churchyard.
