Mrs. Georgie Mae Maddox Vaughn, 63, wife of Braxton B. Vaughn of the Old Bethel Community, died in the Griffin-Spalding Hospital Wednesday morning.
Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. T. B. Maddox, she was born in Marshall county, Ala., but had spent most of her life in Butts county. She was a member of Sardis Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at Old Bethel Church, the plans to be announced by Haisten Funeral Home.
Survivors are her husband and two daughters, Miss Fae Myrt Vaughn of Atlanta, and Mrs. H. M. Young of Forest Park; three sons, H. H. Vaughn and R. A . Vaughn of Jackson and A. E. Vaughn; two sisters, Mrs. W. T. Daniel of Bertron, Texas, Mrs. A. J. Maddox of Covington; three brothers, W. H. Maddox of Eastman; D. C. Maddox Cullman, Ala., and M. D. Maddox of Austin, Texas; six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
