Mr. Ralph Moses Vaughn
Ralph M. Vaughn, Butts Native, Passes Sunday,
Mr. Ralph Moses Vaughn, 47, of Route 1, Barnesville, died at the Griffin-Spalding County Hospital Sunday morning after being admitted Saturday.
Mr. Vaughn was a native of Butts County but had lived in Barnesville for several years. He was employed by the City of Barnesville as a member of the police force and was formerly a policeman at Milner. Mr. Vaughn was a veteran of World War II.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 :30 o'clock from the Midway Baptist Church in Lamar County. Interment was in the church cemetery with Haisten Funeral Home of Barnesville in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Vaughn is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ann Chriswell Vaughn; a daughter, Mrs. Dianne Boggs; a son, Jerry Vaughn, all of Barnesville; his mother, Mrs. George C. Vaughn of Barnesville; a step-daughter, Mrs. Dorothy M. Rainey; two step-sons, Edward Allen and Bobby Allen, all of Griffin; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Smith and Mrs. Margaret Watson; three brothers, Henry Vaughn, Clifford Vaughn and Roy Vaughn, all of Barnesville.
