Rufus Alfred (Tuck) Vaughn

Rufus Alfred (Tuck) Vaughn of Jackson died Fri., May 27, at the Vencor Hospital in Atlanta.
Funeral services were held Sat., May 28, in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Elder William Bishop officiating. Interment was in the Old Bethel Cemetery.
Mr. Vaughn was born Nov. 5,1918 in Butts County, son of the late Braxton B. and Georgia Mae Maddox Vaughn.
He was a retired farmer and had been employed as a security guard for the Holan Company of Ohio Brass in Griffin for several years. He was a member of the Old Bethel Primitive Baptist Church in Butts County.
Survivors include wife, Edna Ruth Nicholson Vaughn of Jackson; son, Ronnie Vaughn of Jackson; daughter, Kaye Grant of Forsyth; brother, Harold Vaughn of Jackson; sister, Fannie Vaughn Broach of Monroe; a grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
Haisten Funeral Home of Jackson was in charge of arrangements.
