Mrs. Vickers Buried At Sandy Creek
Mrs. Mary Allie Tyler Vickers, 95, died early Friday morning in the Greenpoint Nursing Home in Warrenton after an extended illness.
Mrs. Vickers was a daughter of the late Mr. Mike Tyler and Mrs. Sally Waldrop Tyler, both natives of Jasper County. She was born in Jasper County and was a member of a Primitive Baptist Church in the same county. She was the widow of Mr. H. Howard Vickers.
Funeral services for Mrs. Marv Allie Vickers were held Sunday morning at ten o'clock from the Callaway and Sons Funeral Home of Crawfordville with interment at 3:30 Sunday afternoon in the Sandy Creek Cemetery in Butts County. Sherrell Funeral Home was in charge of local rites.
Mrs. Vickers is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Opal Edwards of Crawfordville; a son, Troy H. Vickers of Crawfordville; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
