Mrs. Vincent, 60, Atlanta, Interred Here on Monday
Mrs. Imogene Richards Vincent, 60, of Atlanta, mother of Charles W. Shields of Jackson, died Friday night, February 7, at the DeKalb Memorial HospItal, Decatur, shortly after being admitted.
Funeral services were held Monday morning at St. Mary's Chapel in Jackson with Father Wagner officiating. Interment was in the Jackson City Cemetery with Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Vincent was the widow of Mr. Joe Vincent and was a native of Pennsylvania. She was a teacher and governess in Atlanta for a number of years.
Survivors include one son, Charles W. Shields of Jackson; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Glenn Potts, Marion Todd, Herbert Moore, M. L. Hodges Jr., G. R. Lewis, and George Ridgeway.
