Body Of Mr. E. L. Vogel Brought To Jackson.
The body of Mr. E. L. Vogel, 44 years of age, well known business man of Decatur, who died on September 4, will be brought to Jackson Thursday afternoon and interment will be in the Jackson city cemetery. Funeral services were held in Decatur.
Mr. Vogel is survived by his wife, who was formerly Miss Myra Miller, of Jackson, daughter of the late Mr. J. R. Miller, well known citizen and Confederate veteran; two daughters, Misses Annie Mae Vogel and Georgianna Vogel; his mother, Mrs. H. T. B. Moye, of Washington, D. C. and a brother, Mr. E. M. Vogel of Erwin, Texas. Mrs. Vogel was born and reared in Jackson and resided here until a few years ago, and has hosts of friends here who sympathize with her in the death of her husband.
