Mrs. Emma Harris Yancy

Yancy Rites Held Friday
Funeral services for Mrs. George (Emma) Yancy of Keys Ferry Road, Jackson, were held Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the chapel of Harwell Funeral Home of Covington. The Rev. Ben Stone officiated and interment was in the Lawnwood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Yancy died January 1st after suffering an apparent heart seizure.
She is survived by two sons, Mr. Charles Yancy and Mr. Paul Yancy, both of Jackson; three daughters, Mrs. Joe (Exie) Bohannon of Covington and Mrs. Robert (Irene) Cunard and Mrs. Clyde Cunard, both of Mansfield; a brother, Mr. Willie Harris of Jonesboro; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
