Mrs. Yarbrough Passes Tuesday At Flovilla Home
Mrs. Maude Eunice McWhorter Yarbrough, 74, wife of Mr. Gordon S. Yarbrough, died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon at her residence in Flovilla, presumably the victim of a heart attack.
A native of Carroll County, Mrs. Yarbrough was a member of the Flovilla Methodist Church. She had lived in Butts County approximately four years.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday morning at 11 o'clock from the Flovilla Methodist Church with the Rev. Don Harp, pastor, officiating. Interment will be at two o'clock Thursday afternoon in Crestlawn Memorial Park in Atlanta with Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband; one step-daughter, Mrs. Carl Kinney, Atlanta; three step-sons, Gordon S. Yarbrough Jr., Decatur, Malcolm T. Yarbrough, Atlanta, Bryan Yarbrough of Brackney, Pa.; one sister, Mrs. F. N. Nash of Red Oak; one brother, Lovick McWhorter, Villa Rica; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Gordon S. Yarbrough Jr., Malcolm Yarbrough, Carl S. Kinney, Paul Woodall, Walter Woods, George Nash.
