Rosa Grambling York

Rosa Grambling York of Jackson died Tues., Aug. 30, at Sylvan Grove Hospital. Funeral services were held Fri., Sept. 2, in the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Rev. Elton Atwell officiating. Interment was in the Hickory Flat Cemetery near Woodstock.
Mrs. York was born Aug. 1, 1916 in Cherokee County, daughter of the late Jack Grambling and Ollie Mae Turner Grambling.
She was a resident of Westbury Medical Care Home, a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include daughters, Lavonne Merrett of Jackson, Barbara Faulkner of Helen, Brenda Bell of Lithia Spring and Joan Adair of Mobile, AL; nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Sherrell, Wilson, Mangham Funeral Home of Jackson was in charge of arrangements.
