Rites Friday for Mrs. Youmans, A Former Resident
Graveside services for Mrs. Adrienne McCallum Youmans, 70 years of age, former resident of Jackson, who died at her home in College Park Thanksgiving Day, were held at the Jackson cemetery Friday afternoon. Interment was in the family lot.
Mrs. Youmans, widow of the late Mr. B. B. Youmans, was born and eared in Jackson. She was a daughter of Mr. And Mrs. J. H. McCallum, prominent residents of this county. Following her marriage the family resided for some time in Augusta and had lived at College Park for thirty years. She was a member of the First Baptist church at College Park.
Surviving are five sons, J. B., H. C., E. D., J. L. and F. B. Youmans; two daughters, Mrs. Willis Battle and Mrs. Arthur Huff; four sisters, Mrs. S. B. Kinard and Mrs. J. H. Carmichael, of Jackson; Mrs. J. M. Kjnard, of Baxley, and Mrs. Millard Kilgore, of Atlanta, and several grandchildren.
Funeral rites were conducted Friday morning at the Baptist church in College Park by the Rev. L. E. Rogers , and the Rev. L. E. Baggott. A. C.Hemperley & Sons, funeral directors, were in charge of arrangements.
