Mrs. Ella Wilkins Young

Mrs. Ella Wilkins Young, 95, died Saturday morning at Westbury Medical Care Home at Jenkinsburg where she had lived for several years. Mrs. Young had lived in Butts County over 30 years after moving here from Walton County. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Butts County and was a homemaker.
Survivors include' her daughter, Myrtle Lawhorn of Jackson; son, Oscar Young of Jackson; nine grandchildcren; 23 great-grand-children; eight great- great - grandchildren; brother, John Wilkins of Monroe.
Services were held Monday at :30 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Maxie Threatt and the Rev. Ed Welch officiating. Burial was in Braswell Baptist Church cemetery in Braswell, Ga.
Pallbearers were Edward Young, Wayne Lawhorn, Morris Young, Joey Young, Todd Jones, and Oscar Eugene Wells Jr.
Haisten Funeral Home of Jackson was in charge of arrangements.
