Mrs. Young Passes In Griffin
Funeral services for Mrs. Susie Viola McMichael Young, of Griffin, were held Sunday afternoon at three o'clock from the Baptist Tabernacle Church with the Rev. Bob Jones and the Rev. Graydon Morgan officiating.
Burial was in Griffin Memorial Gardens with McDonald Chapel in charge of arrangements. The body lay in state at the church 30 minutes before the service.
Mrs. Young, a patient at the Living Center of Griffin, died early Saturday morning. She was a native of Butts County and had lived in Griffin 35 years. She was a member of the Baptist Tabernacle Church.
Mrs. Young is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Grace Wood; three sons, J. F. Young, William L. Young, ,and Stonewall J. Young, all of Griffin; a brother, Charlie McMichael of Jackson; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
